Abstract
The seeds of salvia were used as material in this experiment,and the effects of exogenous GA3 and GA3 together with HCl was studied at different concentrations on the germination of salvia seeds respectively.The results were as follows.The various germination index of the seeds of salvia which were treated by GA3 at different concentrations rised obviously compared with ck.Especially,the germination rate and the other various germination index of the seeds with 500 mg/L treatment reached the highest among them.The germination index of the seeds which were treated by HCl was increased largely.Furthermore,the concentrations of GA3 reduced.Seed germination index was the best under the 100 mg/L of GA3.Therefore,when GA3 concentration was reduced to 5 times below,the germination index of seeds increased.
