The international gold prices saw a sharp rise during the world economic recovery after the financial crisis.The reasons behind it include depreciation pressure of dollar,underlying inflation,uncertainty in economic recovery,and supply and demand changes in the international gold market.In short term,upward trend of gold prices will not change,but unsustainable in the long run.
