Abstract

The study of the influence of diesel engine operating parameters-the fuel injection angle, cylinder gasket and inlet resistance on free accelerate and full load smoke emissions was carried out in this paper. The research result shows that the smoke emissions reduce when the fuel injection angle increase appropriately; that the smoke emissions increase greatly when the cylinder gasket and inlet resistance increase. The approach of decreasing smoke emissions is to strengthen service and maintenance of diesel engines, keeping them in good operating status
