Abstract
Effects of ethanol extract from Ailanthus altissima on the cabbage seed germination,seedling growth were studied at different concentration 20 g / L,10 g / L,5 g / L,2. 5 g / L,1. 25 g / L. Results indicated that: the ethanol extracts from Ailanthus altissima had inhibitory effects on the seed germination of cabbage. With the increase of concentration of ethanol extracts from Ailanthus altissima,the germination rate of cabbage decreased while the inhibition rate increased. Over time,the germination rate of cabbage increased,and the inhibitory rate reduced. At the same time,the ethanol extracts from Ailanthus altissima also had inhibitory effects on the growth of cabbage. The inhibition rate of root length,Plant height and fresh weight reduced with the decreasing concentration of ethanol extracts from Ailanthus altissima.
