Abstract
In this paper,the microstructure of nodulation produced in Laval nozzle of HVOF as spraying NiCr-Cr3C2 coating was analyzed,and the reason of nodulation formation was discussed.It was found that the nodulation produced shows a lamellar structure,its formation mechanism is similar to that of coating,in addition,the main reasons leading to the nodulation formation are due to the spraying materials,the granularity of spraying powder,the spraying technical parameters,and the inside surface roughness of Laval nozzle.
