Abstract
The paper introduces the content of A Guide to Green Infrastructure for Canadian Municipalities and the ten characteristics of green infrastructure. It analyses the guide from the types, core characteristics, and ecological connotation of green infrastructure; explains some point of view about the sustainable infrastructure, infrastructure ecology, and ecological modernization of infrastructure; puts forward some ideas about infrastructure effecting the city and residential environment from the e-cological aspect.
