Abstract

Such function which the developing zone has as promoting urban economic growth, raising industrial structure level, adjusting urban space structure, etc. make a lot of local governments hankering after developing zone. The article analyzes the synthetic economic benefit of Changchun city economic and technological development zone from economic structure level, economic development potentiality, economic development vigor and macro - economy benefit. It concludes that the synthesis economic benefit of Changchun economic and technological development zone is increasing by time, and is much more than that of Changchun city, Jilin province and China, which illustrates that Changchun economic and technological development zone has presented the characteristics of agglomeration economy acting as industrial cluster. Furthermore, the article studies its contribution to economic development of Changchun city, and considers that Changchun economic and technological development zone has produced obvious influence to Changchun city in total economy.
