Canadian writer Margaret Atwood's newly-published her masterpiece Oryx and Crake is a profound reflection of her ecological concerns.By applying the artistic skills of black humor to this novel,Atwood severely attacks man's mad plunder and blind destruction of nature.Through an analysis of its humorous narrative techniques and the grotesque characterization of the protagonists,the paper tries to reveal how the artistic skills of black humor helps to display and reflect the pictures of ecological disasters and the end of human civilization.
