Abstract
Barrenwort,a plant in genus Epimedium(Berberidaceae),comprises about 55 species in the world.80% of barrenwort species are native in China.Guizhou,Sichuan,and Hubei are the variational centre of genus Epimedium L.In this study,18 species of Epimedium natived to Sichuan and Guizhou etc.were studied by means of RAPD.On the basis of RAPD,the phylogenic map of Epimedium species were established.It was clear that there were some relationships of the genetic property with its geographic distribution.And the results supported the classification of Chinese species of Epimedium as the large-flower group and the small-flower group.
