Abstract
The authors analyze the control equipment of an aluminum cable draw machine from a cable factory,and present an improvement project of digital DC drive system based on the original control system.The hardware structure and the control strategy of this project are described in detail. For the hardware,the single powerful CPU Intel8098 is used as the core unit and the outpost PWM as the speed reference for the next controller. The special interface device makes the new unit and the old vicinity well matched. For the software, as the separated integration technology and the partly differential method are introduced in the speed control, it is evident that the dynamic preferment of the controller is well improved.
