Abstract
Objective To explore the correlation between diabetic knowledge and cognition function of diabetic patients with mild cognitive impairment.Methods Montreal Cognitive Assessment and Activity of Daily Living Rating Scale were applied to screen 403 hospitalized diabetic patients for mild cognitive impairment and 133 confirmed cases were surveyed with Diabetic Knowledge Test(Chinese Version) and correlation analysis was conducted between diabetic knowledge and cognitive impairment.Results The total score of diabetic knowledge of diabetic patients with mild cognitive impairment was(13.83±3.48).The scores of Diabetic Knowledge Test and Montreal Cognitive Assessment were significantly positively correlated with the scores of memory,attention,abstract ability and language and cognitive ability(P0.05).Conclusion Diabetic patients with mild cognitive impairment have insufficient diabetic knowledge,which is positively correlated with cognitive function.Various kinds of health education should be promoted for the improvement of diabetic knowledge.
