Abstract
The identify and reality of varieties tested in sweet and waxy maize regional tests of Zhejiang province in 2009 were evaluated by means of SSR fingerprinting technique.The results showed that the identification of all varieties besides T 10 and T 12 was reached variety purity standard required in maize regional test.In the reality evaluations,there were no differences in 40 SSR location points for waxy maize variety N 2,N 6 and N 7,and this three varieties were similar to Jinkenuo No.2000 which had been examined and approved.It was concluded from this study that it was necessary to use SSR fingerprinting technique to evaluate the identify and reality of variety tested in regional test and prevent the similar and poor identify variety pass examined and approved.
