Abstract
The paper introduces the contents and development of Canadian construction standards in the field of public works.Based on the Fit-up standards:Technical Reference Manual,the paper make a comparison of construction standards between China and Canada.The key points include relationship with the technical standards,approval governance and life cycle cost advanced.Meanwhile,also consider the desperation of building and the responsibility of workers as another main comparison point.Some suggestions are put forward in the end.
