Abstract
The city group is not only a new shape of the city development,but also a development pole in the regional economic development.The status quo of the city group structure in the upper reach of Yellow river was analyzed refering to the theory of city group layout,the city group function and spatial structure was studied,and the strategy and structural optimization of the city group were brought forward.
