Abstract

The key technique and basic theory of FEM simulation in hot forging are introduced in this paper. The heading process of the high temperature alloy (GH4169) bolt is simulated by using a certain FEM software successfully. Thus, the metal flow under deformation and the optimization design of die are analyzed.
