Abstract
Stirring leaching of nickel from laterites ore from Australia has been studied.The effects of acid concentration,leaching time,leaching temperature,ore particle and liquid-solid ratio on the leaching rate of nickel and acid consumption were examined.The results showed that under the conditions of acid concentration of 1.94 mol/L,ore particle of-2 mm,leaching time of 3 h,leaching temperature of 80 ℃ and liquid-solid ratio of 3∶1,the leaching rates of Ni was73.58%,the acid consumption was at around 80 t/t nickel.The process has the characteristics of low investment,simple process,which was a full wet process for processing laterite ore.
