Abstract
Wavelet-based homogenization method is improved for steady flow problems in heterogeneous porous media with 2 kinds of rapidly oscillating coefficients. The calculation results show that improved wavelet-based method is better than the traditional finite volume method, not only in calculations speed but also in accuracy. compared to wavelet-based homogenization method, improved wavelet-based method increases calculational accuracy.
