Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to investigate and comprehensively evaluate the health and physical fitness status of the civil servants in Beijing municipality, in order to put up suggestions for improving their health. Documents study, investigation, measurement and statistics were used as methods. It is concluded that the health status of civil servants are not satisfied in several parameters such as body shape, body function, exercise ability, and even psychology. Near a quarter of the servants have some kind of disease, most of them understand the importance of exercise, but few adhere in doing it regularly. Many office-staff often feel pressure in their daily work, which easily leads to disease.
