Abstract
A statistics of published and issued books on drying technology from the last 60′s to now in China was collected and analyzed in this work.The statistical results illustrated that during the last 60′s to 70′s the foreign books on drying in China were mostly imported from the original Russian and after 80′s the imported books written in English were sharply increased.There were only ten Chinese books on drying published in China within a quarter centuries(from 1955 to 1980) and were even including 4 translated ones from the Russian.From the point of view of the book subjects the fundamentals of drying technology occupied almost the half of the total issued books before 1995;however the books on subjects of drying applications in various industries have been getting more and more since 1995 and now it is almost the double of the fundamental books.
