A Whale for the Killing is one of the Ecological Quadrilogy written by Farley Mowat,the most representative writer of Canadian animal literature.By the tragic fate of the poor whale,the author expresses his deep sympathy for the wild animals and hatred for the cruel people.The novel contains rich ecological thinking.This will arouse readers' attention in the present situation in which our environment is becoming worse.
