Abstract
The development of new media has brought changes to ideological and political education environment as well as impacts to the value outlook of college students. As a result, the ideological and political education shall follow this new trend by effectively improving its traditional ideas and clearly recognizing the educational relationship under new media environment, for the sake of strengthening student's subjective consciousness in spiritual pursuit with value rationality and guiding college students to adopt socialism core value system as their spiritual pursuit direction, so that they could practice these values in their behaviors and realize the comprehensive sustainable development.
