Abstract
Brisk domestic synthetic fiber market was seen in the first half of 2000 owing to the newly added production capacity and growth of importation.But it slowed down in the second half,and the prices of synthetic fiber dropped down successively in the fourth quarter.Major synthetic fibers in China still mainly were imported from Taiwan Province,South Korea and Japan as resource.It was proposed that the synthetic fiber production should tally with the downstream market to meet the demand on materials for making the outside.It is necessary to readjust proportions of products based timely on the demand trend in synthetic fiber market and keeping track of well selling product.
