Abstract
A new metalorganic-inorganic hybrid compound [Cu4(phen)4(HPO4)2(H2O)2(OH)2][HPMo12O40]·H2O(1)(phen =1,10-phenanthroline),has been hydrothermally synthesized and structurally characterized by elemental analysis,IR spectrum,thermal analysis and single-crystal X-ray structural analysis.Compound 1 is consisted of a tetranuclear copper phosphate [Cu4(phen)4(HPO4)2(H2O)2(OH)2]2+,Keggin polyoxoanion [HPMo12O40]2-and the lattice water molecule.Compound 1 generates an interesting 2D network between the tetranuclear copper phosphates and polyoxoanions by weak M…O interactions(M=Cu,Mo),which is further connected into a 3D supramolecular architecture through hydrogen bonds and π-π interactions.Compound 1 was used as a solid bulk modifier to fabricate a carbon paste electrode(1-CPE) by direct mixing.The electrochemical and electrocatalytic behaviors of the 1-CPE have been studied in detail.
