Abstract
Both the hardware and software design and implementation of a real-time signal processor f or active sonar trial system are discussed which comes a simple but flexible solution.Some key issues including interaction between DSP system and host, host control and display, data recording and playback are detailed.The proposed scheme is evolved from several trial systems which experienced lake and sea trial.It has the general applicability for active sonar trial systems.
