Abstract

Against the three unstable landslide in Baiyunebo open-pit Iron Mine C area,a comprehensive analysis of the factors which may affect the slope stability was made by combined with the engineering geological exploration and the rock mechanics test,as result,propose several methods for the secondary reinforcement to control the slope were put forward.Analysis of the methods was made by using the soil analysis software 5.5 and the Canadian rock slope stability analysis software SLIDE5.0.Based on calculating the safety factor the measure's availability of the measures was determined.This paper provides basis for making decision about the safe production of Baiyunebo Iron Mine,which have important significance for guiding the actual production.
