Abstract
Linux,as an embedded system,becomes much more popular in the recent years.The root file system is an important part of Linux embedded system.After the full analyses of JFFS2 file system and root file system of Linux embedded system, this paper provides an implementation of JFFS2 root file system on a development board.At last,the advantages and the disad- vantages of using JFFS2 were analyzed and some improved methods were provided.
