Abstract
In the practices of the virtual campus construction based on VRML,texture mapping technique made 3D virtual reali- ty environments seem true and natural.Texture mapping technique in VRML mainly includes texture pixel,texture coordinate system,texture mapping cutterbar,and texture map control.Firstly,the paper analyzes texture coordinate system,and the forming of texture mapping cutterbar.Secondly,emphatically discuss the control technique of texture mapping,and further re- search the convolution,lock-in and transform of texture coordinate.These researches were testified by taking many examples and realized by programming.In the end,according to the principle and methods,the paper achieves virtual reality campus 3D scene,which further shows the practicality and superiority of texture mapping technique.
