Abstract
When the Bow, an office tower under construction in downtown Calgary, is completed in 2011, the 58-storey building will be the tallest structure in Canada west of Toronto.This article is aimed to set an good example for modern high-rise office buildings by introducing the background, design ideas as well as characteristics of the Bow, and by analyzing the advanced design features, especially the significance of sustainable design and people first.
