Abstract
Objective To observe the clinical therapeutic effect of scalp point acupuncture therapy combined with cognitive training on post-stroke mild congnitive impairment. Methods A total of 60 patients with post-stroke mild congnitive impairment were randomly divided into two groups. Patients of the treatment group( n = 30) were given scalp point acupuncture therapy combined with cognitive training,and patients of the control group( n = 30) were given nimodipine 30 mg,three times a day,combined with cognitive training. All patients were treated for 8 weeks. Efficacy was assessed by the mini-mental state examination( MMSE) and the Montreal cognitive scale( Mo CA) before and after treatments. Results The score change of MMSE and Mo CA after treatments in the two groups were significantly different? respectively( P 0. 05),between the two groups on the score change of MMSE and Mo CA before and after treatments,there were no significant differences. Conclusion The result of the study shows that there are significant effect on post-stroke MCI by scalp point acupuncture therapy combined with cognitive training and nimodipine combined with cognitive training,but there are no significant differences between the two kinds of treatments.
