Abstract
In 2006,Ministry of Education gave permission to three universities to possess undergraduate translation major.There are 57 universities who have the right to set the major now.In order to make it better,we should learn from the famous overseas translation schools and improve the combination of its curriculum.After interpretation of the curricula for the undergraduate translation major of University of Ottawa in Canada,the author thinks that we should determine the talent cultivation objective for the undergraduate translation major as universal specialized talents.The rate of the course for two languages and translation skills should be up to 80%.Translation Technologies,Terminology and Terminoticsand Professional Aspects of Translationshould be accepted by its curricula.
