Abstract
From May 8,2007 to November 9,2010,we transferred imported dairy cattle embryos in Breeding Farm of Beijing Dairy Cattle Center and Xiao Wang Zhuang of China Agricultural Machinery Institute.The entrance of holstein embryos from the United States and Canada were used to cultivate and breed superior bulls and cows of Holstein.Up to November 2010,total 369 embryos were used and 367 receptor cows were transplanted(with 15 cows not yet reached the pregnancy examination time),of which 212 were pregnant,so the average pregnancy rate was 60.40%.The transplantation results illustrated that we have established a set of advanced technology for imported embryo transfer technology.
