The guild plays an important role in the development of vocational education in Canada,which embodies in widely propagandizing community colleges to society,developing vocational education courses with community colleges,establishing teaching syllabus of community colleges,guiding community colleges to offer training courses,using the information technology to add training opportunities,identifying the scores of practice training in enterprises,facilitating to accept the mutual credit between community colleges,making the most of professional certification system,providing technical donations to community colleges,maintaining the lawful rights and interests of teachers in community colleges,promoting internationalization of vocational education in community colleges and participating in organizing the vocational and technical competition,etc.
