Steady Gradient Magnetic Field on the Biological Effect and Peroxidase of Soybean and Corn

Abstract
Different steady gradient magnetic fields(50 mT to 250 mT, interval 50 mT)and different processing time(0.5 h to 2.5 h, interval 2.5 h)were used to measure the biological effects and peroxidase content in soybean and corn seeds. It was found that the potentiality, germination rate, root length and fresh weight of soybean and corn treated by magnetic field were higher than control group(CK) without magnetic field treatment. The relationships between root length and peroxidase(POD)content were linear. The product of magnetic field intensity and processing time of soybean was in 100- 200 mT·h, the root length and POD concent were the highest. But corn had not found the phenomenon.
