The seeds germination of perennial ryegrass,Festuca arundinacea and Kentucky bluegrass were researched under artificial drought stress using different concentrations of polyethylene glycol(PEG-6000) solution.The results showed that the time of perennial ryegrass's and Kentucky bluegrass's seeds beginning to germinate were postponed with the concentration increasing under drought stress.But it had little effect on Festuca arundinacea.The seeds germination of perennial ryegrass and Kentucky bluegrass were promoted at low PEG concentration(5%),but at high concentration(15%-25%),the germination were inhibited.The order of the three turfgrass' drought resistance was: Festuca arundinacea perennial ryegrassKentucky bluegrass.
