Abstract
The electromagnetic models that the flexible coil probe tests complex curved surface conductors with defect and without defect by the method of eddy current testing are established in this paper.The voltage and the impedance of the flexible coil probe when testing the conductor with defect and without defect are simulated and analyzed.The simulation results show that the reactance signal is sensitive to the defect.The flexible coil probe and the testing system suitable for the defect detection in the curved surface structure are designed,in which the impedance analysis method is adopted for defect analysis.
