Abstract
Taking the planning design of Lihuayuan residential quarter as example the issue that how to create a modern district taking human as the essence is discussed. The importance of the humanization design of modern residential space is emphasized. In the end author points out that good human residential space can be created based upon serious study on human behaviors.
