Abstract

This paper analyses the effect of the solid particle contaminant on the velocity_load characteristic of three hydraulic velocity_modulating circuits by experiments. It provides a contrast of this effect on the three circuits. The study indicates that different size particle contaminants have different effects on the velocity_load characteristic. The present research is of practical significance in designing and using the throttle velocity modulating circuit.
