Abstract
Six kinds of naked oats seeds were selected as the materials in this paper,different concentrations of PEG was used to simulat drought stress condition,drought resistance of six kinds of naked oats during seed germination was studied. The germination rate,germination potential,radical length,hypocotyls length and their ratio value were determined. The results showed that different concentrations of PEG stress treatment retarded seed germination. Low concentrations of PEG( 5%) improve seed germination of different varieties of naked oat. Under concentrations of PEG( 15%),seed germination was restrained. With increasing of concentrations of PEG,the restraint increased gradually. There was significant difference in restraint among different varieties.The drought resistance of six kinds of naked oats during seed germination was compared and determined.
