Abstract
Objective:To investigate the clinical effect of laparoscopic removal of hydatid internal capsule and open wide of external capsule.Methods:The clinical data of 55 patients with hepatic echinococcosis who underwent laparoscopic removal of hydatid internal capsule and open wide of external capsule were analyzed retrospectively.Results:The procedure was successful in all cases with no leakage of fluid from hepatic hydatid,anaphylactic shock or death.Postoperatively,there were 5 cases of recurrence which was not in primary site,2 cases of bile leakage,and 3 cases of residual cavity hydrops,which were all cured by symptomatic treatment.Conclusions:Laparoscopic removal of hydatid internal capsule and open wide of external capsule is a safe,effective and minimally invasive procedure as a treatment of hepatic hydatidosis.
