Abstract
Development of the times objectively needs the new corresponding relationship between teachers and students.Intercourse,inter-subjectivity and practice are the theoretical basis of modern relationship between teachers and students.Modern relationship between teachers and students with respect at its core is a better choice,because it puts respect at its center and takes mutual respect and understanding as well as the two-way communication as its characteristics.Besides,it also provides necessary theoretical support for settling the problems such as confrontation,indifference,simplification and utilitarianism existing in the teacher-student relationship in the period of social transformation.
