EDA is standing for a new development direction in electronic design,but its experiment teaching is still mainly relies on EDA experiment boxes,which consist of simple designs for digital circuits.These contents are too general and shallow,which cannot help students to understand the advantages of EDA in large scaled IC design.Traditional communication experiment teaching is also dependent on experiment boxes,which is quite limited during experiments for students in that they can only adjust some potentiometers,and can hardly understand Abstract communication principles.Teaching reforms are proposed in this paper for EDA experiments,the innovation is that students can carry out EDA programming based on communication,such as coding and decoding of baseband signal,modulation and demodulation of frequency-banded signal,multiplexing of signals,Pulse Code Modulation(PCM),etc..The accomplishment of this reform can not only help students deeply understand Abstract communication theories but also practice their EDA design abilities,which can achieve twice the results with half efforts.
