Quiet revolution,which brought about profound changes in Quebec society,leaded to new developments in Quebec citizenship education.An new Quebec citizenship and identity is evolving and emerging.The reality of multiculturalism in Quebec society constitutes the background for the developing of their unique model of citizenship education–Interculturalism.French language education,history education and intercultural education courses are the main approaches to citizenship education in schools.In face of the complicated ethnic relations,Quebec is attempting to achieve the aim of civic integration and nation-building in a multicultural society.
