Six soybean cultivars were used as materials in the experiment to study the biochemical mechanics of seed vigor by researching the change of storage protein content and its subunit degradation regularity in the course of germination.The results showed that seed size and storage protein content of different genotypes of soybean did not correlated with seed vigor.While the utility efficiency of storage protein in high vigor seed was far higher than that in low vigor seed.And increasing with germination days,the part of 7 S in high vigor seed declined more rapidly than those in low vigor of seeds.
