Abstract
Canadian English is one of the variants of English.However Canadian historical,social and regional factors have great influence on English language,meanwhile Canadian English also reflects some features of Canadian culture.By analyzing the origin and development of Canadian English and the multi-culture embodied in it,this paper aims to demonstrate the unique cultural feature in Canada——based on British and French culture as their mainstream culture,Canadians are good at the acceptance and absorption of cultural elements from other nationalities to build up the harmonious society.
