Abstract
Wild potato species has plenty of resistant genes,however,it is difficult to introduce these target genes into Solanum tuberosum cultivars because of the different endosperm balance number(EBN) between wild species and cultivar.Protoplast fusion method can be used to introduce the targer genes into cultivars and to produce new germplasm and varieties This study is aimed at describing the technology of potato protoplast fusion,selection and resistant mapping based on the literatures and our experiment data.
