Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of edaravone on cognitive function of adult full status epilepticus seizures.Methods A retrospective analysis of May 2006 to June 2011 admitted to our department during the full-blown type epilepticus in 80 patients with clinical data.Results The incidence of three team MoCA score was not statistically significant,after the onset of the observation group and control group patients on 14 and 30 days MoCA score had dropped,on 14 days the number of cases abnormal MoCA score was no significant difference between the two groups,but the control group drop more obvious,the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P0.05).30 days,the number of cases observed abnormal MoCA score was significantly less than the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P0.05).Conclusions The treatment of epilepsy by edaravone has good security,to overall seizures of adult status epilepticus protective effect of cognitive function have a positive clinical significance.
