Abstract
Vancouver Island University(VIU) makes two historic leaps in just 30 years,which is the powerful leadership to play the key role.And the common value is the root of powerful leadership.The development of VIU has four revelations for us.The first one is to improve strategic leadership for making one plan and establishing a perspective goal.The second one is to strengthen team leadership for building one team and realizing talents' strengthening college.The third one is to stand out curriculum leadership for surrounding one center and improving connotation level.The fourm one is to increase management leadership for scientifically operating management and advancing developing step.The last one is to emphasize value leadership for propagating our college spirit and enriching culture life.This is expected to offer valuable reference for Liaoning Forestry Vocation-Technical College and other similar higher vocational colleges.
