Abstract
By means of studies on the properties of Taike coking coal from Canadian and Bakuang coking coal from Henan including studies on the properties of the resulting coke from one single coking coal and the blended coking coal it's found out that although the properties of the resulting coke from Taike coal alone is rather good,yet in the blended coking coals it can only replace a part of the home supplied excellent coking coal and in view of the characteristics of low ash and low sulfur in the Taike coal,mixture of proper quantity of Taike coal in coking the ash and sulfur content in the resulting coke can be reduced.
