Abstract
The IEEE Holm Conference is sponsored and organized by IEEE CPMT Committee and IEEE Holm Electrical Contact Conference committee, and is held almost annually since 1953. The 52nd IEEE Holm conference was just held in Montreal, Canada in September 2006. It is one of the most famous international conferences concerning about the electrical contacts phenomena and its applications.
