Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

The change of the glass transition temperature Tg of poly-(ethylene-terephthalate)(PET),due to the dissolved CO2 has been measured as a function of the gas pressure p,using a novel in situ optical measuring apparatus. The results indicate that at 20 MPa,the Tg is depressed by 26 ℃.The depression in Tg is found to be linear with pressure, with dTg/dP of-1.3 ℃/MPa.To examine the accuracy and reliability of this method, the comparison of the result obtained by the apparatus at atmosphere pressure with that obtained by the standard differential scanning calorimetry(DSC)was made, and it showed that these two methods produced results within acceptable precision. Thus the method developed in this work is reliable to be used to measure Tg of polymers in SC-CO2.The Tg value at 30 MPa reported in the literature, however, departs markedly from the present investigation on PET/CO2 system, which implies that at a higher gas pressure an effect opposite to the plasticization becomes dominant due to the hydrostatic pressure exerted by the gas.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
